Aglio e Olio Rice and Sauteed Mushroom Platter



 A dish that sings flavors and love! Saucy Mushrooms with aromatic and flavorsome rice and spicy corn.

Aglio e olio rice and sauteed Mushroom Platter is the dish that winters deserve! The perfect special yet easy meal.

Let’s Begin!!!!

Serves: 2

  1. Aglio e olio rice

Ingredients :

  • 1 to 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 7–8 cloves chopped garlic
  • 1 -2 tsp red chili flakes
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp fresh chopped parsley

Method :

  • Heat a pan on medium flame, and oil and garlic, stir and cook until the garlic turns light golden brown
  • Add the cooked rice, red chili flakes, salt, and pepper. Mix well and cook for 2 minutes.
  • sprinkle the parsley and gently mix well.
  • Transfer into 2 bowls and keep it aside.

2. Sauteed Mushrooms

Ingredients :

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 250 gms sliced mushrooms
  • 8–10 cloves chopped garlic
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 to 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 to2 tsp mixed herbs

Method:

  • Heat a pan on medium flame, add oil. Add onions and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Add the mushrooms and cook until they turn golden brown(5 to 7 minutes)
  • Add garlic cook for another 2 minutes.
  • Add salt, pepper, and soy sauce. Mix gently (I prefer more pepper since it adds a nice flavor but this is as per your preference)
  • Add mixed herbs, do a taste test
  • Once ready keep it aside

3. Spicy Butter corn (Side dish)

Mix together the following :

  • 2 cups boiled corn kernels
  • 1 to 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp red chili powder
  • 1 tbsp lemon
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder

4. Assembling the Platter

  • Place the rice bowl upside down on a plate and gently lift it
  • Place sauteed mushrooms on one side of the plate
  • Place butter corn on the other side
  • Enjoy warm
